Buying Guide: QuickFitting Press Fittings

Copper Press Fittings
Copper press fittings include couplings with a stop and couplings without a stop, 90 degree and 45 degree press elbows, street elbows and press-to-male-thread adapters. Many are sold in single pieces and in 10 pack options. Choose the type that matches the layout of your pipe run.

SurePress Visual Confirmation
The SurePress indication windows are visible from any angle, whichever way the fitting sits on the pipe. Green fills the windows once the fitting is pressed, which helps installers and inspectors spot an unpressed fitting before the system is tested. Check every connection this way before you pressurize the line.

Brass Press Ball Valves
QuickFitting makes brass press ball valves in sizes such as 1/2 in., 3/4 in. and 1 in. Have a qualified technician install the valves, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does QuickFitting make?
QuickFitting makes copper press fittings, including couplings, elbows and adapters, along with brass press ball valves. Its SurePress line is designed so that a pressed connection can be visually confirmed.

How do I choose the right size or type?
Match the size and part number on the old fitting or valve, and measure the pipe before ordering. Check the manufacturer's instructions for the required type, and choose a coupling with or without a stop based on your pipe layout.

What does the green indication mean?
Green fills the indication windows once the fitting has been pressed, confirming a successful press. If a window is not green, the fitting may not be fully pressed, so check it before pressure testing.
