Buying Guide: Wax Compounds and TSP Cleaners

Bees Wax Lubricating Compound
This compound is made from pure refined bee's wax and is meant for coating screws, nails, window frames and drawer slides. It helps prevent wood from splitting and results in fewer broken or stripped screws. Available sizes include 0.7 oz and 2 oz.

TSP Hard Surface Cleaner
This unscented TSP powder removes grease, soot, mildew and other soils from walls, woodwork and painted surfaces. It works as a cleaner and deglosser, so it is useful for surfaces you plan to repaint or cover with wall covering. It is sold in a 4 lb powder size.
