Portable Cooler and Cooler Tab
The portable evaporative cooler is not an air conditioner and is most effective in dry climates. It is a 500 Sq Ft, 1300 CFM unit with a manual fill, garden hose attachment, float valve auto shut-off, water level indicator window and 2-way airflow. The cooler tab is a time release formula that controls odors from algae and bacteria, and it is not for drinkable water.
Sillcocks and Saddle Valve
The brass sillcocks run water from a garden hose bib or 3/4 in. MPT pipe to a cooler, and each has a 1/8 in. FPT port. The brass self-piercing saddle valve has a 1/4 in. compression outlet and taps copper or steel pipe, such as 1-3/8 in. O.D., but not PVC. The sillcocks and saddle valve are for outdoor use only and not for potable water lines.

Which sillcock should I choose?
Match the connection on your hose bib or pipe first. One sillcock has a 3/4 in. female GHT inlet for a garden hose bib, and the other has a 3/4 in. FPT inlet for pipe. Both have a 3/4 in. male GHT outlet and a 1/8 in. FPT port.
What do the motor and pump receptacles do?
The motor receptacle connects a motor power cord in coolers without a junction box and has 10 in. x 14 gauge wires for 115V and 230V motors up to 1 horsepower. The pump receptacle connects a pump power cord and has 10 in. x 18 gauge wires for 115V residential pumps. Have a qualified technician wire these electrical parts.
