The Neutral 30906 can also replace rotted wood, be nailed, sanded, sawed or drilled, and cleans up with soap and water. Shades include Neutral, Red Oak and Golden Oak, in 0.5 pt and 3 oz sizes, with some sold as a pack of 6 or a pack of 12.
Satin Clear Polyurethane
The Ultra Max Satin Clear is a water-based oil modified urethane in a 1 qt size. It dries through to a harder cure and can be recoated in just 2 hours. Its self leveling formula is made for smooth finishes on floors, cabinets, furniture and woodwork, and it has a low odor.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does ZAR make?
ZAR offers latex wood patch compounds in Neutral, Red Oak and Golden Oak shades, plus a satin clear water-based polyurethane. The patches repair nail holes, cracks and chips in wood, and the polyurethane is a finish for floors, cabinets, furniture and woodwork.
How do I choose the right shade, size or type?
Choose a wood patch shade that is close to your wood, since the patch is meant to accept stain more uniformly. Pick 0.5 pt or 3 oz for the amount you need, or a pack if you have several repairs. Choose the satin clear polyurethane if you want a clear finish in a 1 qt size.
Can I sand and stain the wood patch?
Yes. The patch can be sanded, sawed and drilled after it sets, and it is made to accept stain better than conventional wood patching compounds. Test the stain on a scrap piece first to check the color before you finish the repair.
