Wooster

Buying Guide: Paint Brushes, Roller Covers and Frames

Roller Covers
Mohair blend roller covers come in 4 in. and 9 in. widths, and each has a polypropylene core that resists water, solvents and cracking. The blend of mohair and polyester is shed-resistant, and mohair gives smooth results on sticky or tacky protective coatings. Use them on metal and smooth wood, and check the cover width and length against your frame before you order.

Paint Brushes
Brushes come in widths such as 1 in., 1-1/2 in., 2 in., 3 in. and 4 in., in flat, angle and pointed shapes. The Ultra/Pro Firm angle brush is a mix of nylon and polyester for medium weight coatings such as acrylics, latex or enamels, indoors and out. Match the width to the area you are painting, and match the brush to your paint or stain type.

Trays, Frames and Buckets
The Wide Boy 18 in. W extension pole roller frame adjusts to hold covers with 1-1/2 in. standard or 2-1/4 in. jumbo diameters, and it must be used with an extension pole. Wooster also offers a 2 qt deep-well paint tray and a 5 gal plastic bucket. Check the cover length and core diameter against your frame before you order.
