Buying Guide: Whedon Shower and Faucet Parts

Shower Heads and Handheld Showers
Whedon makes showerheads in solid brass and handheld models with massage and multi-spray settings. The USB3C showerhead is rated at 1.5 GPM maximum at 80 psi, and it is great for low water pressure. Compare the GPM rating with your water pressure before choosing a model.

Faucet Aerators and Sprayrators
Whedon offers brass faucet aerators with dual thread housings, including water saving versions, plus swivel sprayrators that switch between a spray and a stream. The common thread sizes are 15/16 in.-27M and 55/64 in.-27F. Measure the threads on your faucet before ordering.

Hoses, Arms, Brackets and Strainers
Shower hoses come in 59 in. lengths, in white PVC or chrome stainless steel with a Bungy design. Shower arm adapters convert ball joint arms to standard 1/2 in. male threads, and drain protector strainers come in 3-1/2 in. and 4-1/2 in. diameters. Have a qualified technician install any plumbing connection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Whedon make?
Whedon makes showerheads, handheld showers, faucet aerators, swivel sprayrators, shower hoses, shower arms, wall mount brackets, diverter valves, and sink and drain strainers. Most parts come in chrome finishes, and some come in brushed nickel.

How do I choose the right size or part?
Match the part number or thread size on your old part. Faucet aerators here use 15/16 in.-27M and 55/64 in.-27F dual threads, and shower arm adapters use 1/2 in. connections. Measure before ordering and check your equipment manual if you are unsure.

How do Whedon showerhead flow ratings compare?
The USB3C and USB4C showerheads are rated at 1.5 GPM, while the AFM62C handheld showerhead is rated at 2 GPM. Lower GPM ratings use less water, so compare the rating with how strong a spray you want.
