Buying Guide: Painting and Floor Protection Supplies

Drop Cloths, Masking and Floor Paper
Trimaco makes drop cloths, masking paper, builder's paper, floor protector paper and surface protection board. The masking paper is formulated for water and oil based materials and protects surfaces from overspray. The EcoDrop drop cloth is made from 100% recycled material and is meant for light paint work.

Paint Strainers and Cleaning Cloths
SuperTuff nylon mesh strainers come in elastic top and plain top styles and are sized for 1 gallon cans. The line also includes tack cloths, cotton knit rags, cotton cheese cloth and staining pads for smooth surfaces. Use a strainer to remove dried flakes, lumps and dust from paint before you apply it.

Coveralls, Shoe Guards and Spray Gear
The polypropylene painter's coveralls protect clothes and skin from paint, grease and dirt, and they can be washed in cold water and reused. Shoe guards help keep floors clean during painting and interior construction. Spray sock hoods and a cardboard paint spray shield help protect your head and surfaces while spraying.
