Weatherproof Boxes and Covers
The 5-1/2 in. round plastic weatherproof box is gray, provides a junction for conduits, and can mount lampholders and lighting systems. Its non-metallic construction prevents moisture penetration and suits wet, damp or dry locations. Rectangle plastic 1 gang multi-use and universal covers, and rectangle metal 1 gang GFCI covers, are offered for wet locations, so match the cover to the device.
Conduit Connectors and Couplings
Set screw connectors and couplings are for EMT, and compression connectors and conduit couplings are for rigid conduit or IMC. Rain-tight compression connectors and couplings are for EMT, such as the 1-1/4 in. size, and the NM/SE clamp cable connector is 2 in. dia. Match the trade size and connector style to your conduit or cable.
Straps, Grounding Wire and Service Heads
Straps include a 1-1/2 in. dia. zinc-plated steel 1 hole strap, and grounding wire is offered in 8 in. L. The die-cast aluminum service entrance head is a connecting point for oval SE cable in a dry location, and it has a removable cap. Measure oval SE cable before you order a service entrance head, and check the strap size against your conduit.
