Safety Works

Buying Guide: Fall Protection Gear

Harnesses, Lanyards and Rope Grabs
Safety Works offers harnesses with straps that distribute fall arrest forces over the upper thighs, pelvis, chest and shoulders, plus an adjustable safety harness and a shock absorbing lanyard. A manual rope grab provides temporary fall protection on ladders and vertical structures, and a 50 ft polyester and steel rope with snap hook is also available.

Vests, Roof Anchors and Liners
Reflective safety vests come in fluorescent green and Hi-Viz orange, and the Class II lime vest uses hook and loop closure for easy on and off. A reusable steel roof anchor with a 400 lb capacity is sold in packs of 5, and a winter hard hat liner adds warmth under a hard hat.
