Buying Guide: Choosing Fence Wire
Barbless and Utility Fence Wire
Ironridge barbless field fencing is 12.5 gauge galvanized steel wire on a 1320 ft roll, and it can run along the top of an existing fence to add height without sharp edges. Utility fence wire comes in 14 gauge on a 2640 ft roll and can be run across the top or along the bottom of a fence to discourage livestock from reaching over or under.
Electric Fence Wire
Ironridge electric fence wire is offered in 14 gauge on a 1320 ft roll and in 17 gauge on 1320 ft and 2640 ft rolls. The 17 gauge wire has galvanized construction that helps prevent damage from the environment, rust and corrosion, and its dispensing spools help you transport and install the wire where you need it.
