Buying Guide: ETI Ceiling Lights
Flush Mount and Utility Ceiling Lights
ETI's flush mount ceiling lights have a low-profile design for kitchens and offices, and the 12 in. model offers Soft White, Bright White, or Daylight color options before installation. The round utility closet light is a compact 5 in. fixture that is wired directly and controlled by a pull chain or a wall switch, depending on the model.
Spin Lights and Bulkhead Lights
Spin Lights screw onto an existing medium base lamp holder, so you can add light without new wiring, and the 7 in. Spin Light includes a hardwire adaptor for a hardwired setup. TwistFit bulkhead lights have a frosted glass lens with a metal grid and a polycarbonate base that is rust and corrosion resistant.
Bulbs and Mounting Plates
ETI also offers a bright white LED bulb rated at 40 watt equivalence and silver 6.22 in. rough-in mounting plates sold in packs of 20. Plates serve as placeholders for recessed or canless lights and are used during new construction pre-wiring. Check the size on your old part or the manufacturer's instructions before ordering, and have a qualified electrician install hardwired fixtures.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does ETI make?
ETI offers LED ceiling flush mount lights in 12 in. and 16 in. sizes, a 5 in. round utility closet ceiling light, bulkhead lights, spin lights, an LED bulb and silver rough-in mounting plates.
How do I choose the right size or type?
Measure the space and the clearance above your ceiling. Flush mounts suit low ceilings, and a spin light suits a spot that already has a lamp holder. Match the size on your old part or the part number before ordering.
Do spin lights need wiring?
Spin lights screw onto an existing lamp holder like a light bulb, so no rewiring is needed. The 7 in. Spin Light includes a hardwire adaptor for a hardwired installation, which a qualified electrician should handle.
