Frequently Asked Questions
What does Cadet make?
Cadet offers electric convection baseboard heaters, electric wall heaters including fan-forced models, single pole and double pole line voltage thermostats, and a replacement thermostat knob. Heaters are labeled with a heating area in square feet and output in BTU.
How do I choose the right size or type?
Match the heating area in square feet and BTU rating to the room you want to warm. Baseboard heaters suit a bedroom or a single area, while wall heaters suit spaces where you want a wall-mounted unit. Measure the space before ordering.
How do I pick the right thermostat?
Choose a single pole or double pole line voltage thermostat that suits your heater's wiring, and check the heater manual first. Have a qualified electrician or technician install electrical parts, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
