Buying Guide: Bike Tires, Helmets and Accessories
Tires and Inner Tubes
The 26 in. rubber bicycle tire comes in a set of 2 and is a cruiser tire with a Flat Defense layer for extra puncture resistance. The 26 in. inner tube is made of mold-cured rubber, with a 1 3/8 inch width and a Schrader valve. Match the wheel size and tire width on your old tire, and check the valve type on your tube.
Helmets and Gloves
The Rally polycarbonate child helmet has a visor, tapeless technology and a pinch guard that ensures pinch-free buckling. The neoprene bike gloves are half finger gloves in black and gray, with compression-foam palm inserts and mesh backs. Measure your hand and compare the size on your old pair before you order.
Pumps, Racks and Accessories
The Zephyr 350 steel floor pump is maroon, with a tall barrel and a reversible pump head for Presta and Schrader valves. The Caddy 300 aluminum bike carrier rack is black, and the Clinch 100 alloy water bottle cage is silver. Check the weight limit in the manufacturer's instructions before you load a carrier rack, and measure your bottle before you buy a cage.
