Snaps and Hooks
Bolt snaps and spring snaps connect chain, rope, strap and animal leashes, and they are sized by diameter and length. Trigger snaps and clevis grab hooks are also offered, and some bolt snaps carry a load rating such as 80 lb.
Turnbuckles, Cable and Pulleys
Turnbuckles create tension in cables, ropes and chains by turning the body of the buckle. Galvanized steel aircraft cable is offered in 3/8 in. diameter, and some single eye pulleys come with swivel eyes. Some turnbuckles are rated for line pull only, so keep clear of raised loads.
