AC Safe

Buying Guide: Air Conditioner Accessories

Window Air Conditioner Covers
AC Safe makes interior and exterior window air conditioner covers in tan PVC. Sizes are given as height by width, so measure your window unit before ordering. A vinyl panel replacement kit is also available for cracked or torn accordion-style side panels.

Supports, Filters and Pan Care
Universal air conditioner supports in white steel are rated for 80 lb. or 160 lb., so check your unit's weight first. Pan cleaner tablets are used to clean condensate drain pans, and polyester air conditioner filters and box fan filters are available. Match the part number or size on your old filter when replacing it.

Repair Tools
The window air conditioner fin tool is designed to straighten evaporator and condenser fins and to clear scum and dust from drains and pans. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and check your equipment manual before using it. Have a qualified technician handle any gas, electrical or pressure-system work.
