Steel hex head anchors come in sizes such as 3/16 in. diameter by 1-1/4 in. L and 5/16 in. diameter by 2-1/4 in. L. Hex washer head screws are sold in 1/2 in. by 4 in. L, and the 3/8 in. by 4 in. L steel anchor suits indoor and outdoor concrete. Match the diameter and length to the old anchor or fastener, and measure before you order.
Carbide Tipped Masonry Drill Bits
Carbide tipped Tapcon bits drill pilot holes in concrete, block and brick, in straight shank and SDS-plus shank styles. The 5/32 in. x 4-1/2 in. L bit is used to install 3/16 in. Tapcon anchors, and a hammer drill is recommended. The 4 pk masonry drill bit set, 3/16 in. x 4-1/2 in. L, is for installing 1/4 in. Tapcon anchors.
Pro Installation Steel Kit
The Tapcon Pro installation steel kit is a power tool attachment for anchoring jobs, and it includes a hex key for the set screw. Check the chuck size of your drill and have the Tapcon bit for your anchor size before you order. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for setup.
